The TCRFC Model Floodplain Ordinance embodies development criteria of the “Level Two” TCRFC community, including the following:

  • no rise in the base flood elevation

  • no net loss of valley storage

  • no floodway development

  • no increase in erosive velocities on- or off-site

  • two feet of freeboard required for all new development

  • all new subdivisions must include surveyed benchmark/monumentation
