FEMA Scoping Meeting:

Burnet County map review process is underway. The initial scoping meeting to determine the county's needs and collect any additional studies that may already be available within this area to aid FEMA's re-mapping process occurred in April 2007.

In addition, Burnet County received 9 new map panels in 2006 in conjunction with the Travis County mapping project in order to keep floodplain information consistent along Lake Travis despite jurisdictional boundaries. The review period concluded on September 14, 2006.
