Mapping status:
The Matagorda County flood map scoping meeting was held April 12, 2006. With the scope of the study, the study contractor will utilize existing technical information and studies provided by the County, Cities, LCRA and other agencies to update existing mapping information, perform redelineations, and match to the topography in order to create the new maps. A target preliminary release date has been set for December 31, 2009, however it may be later due to LiDAR and Coastal issues.
