Mapping status:

FEMA delivered the Letter of Final Determination to the counties and its cities of Travis on March 26, 2008. This means that the DFIRM will be effective September 26, 2008. Public notice about the maps and any new base flood elevations was published the second and third weeks of June, starting a 90-day appeal period. Any appeals or protests to the FIRMs or FIS should have been made through the local community to FEMA by September 14, 2006.
