Mapping status:
FEMA delivered the Letter of Final Determination to the counties and its cities of Williamson on March 26, 2008. This means that the DFIRM will be effective September 26, 2008. Public notice about the maps and any new base flood elevations was published in February, starting a 90-day appeal period. Any protests or technical appeals had to be submitted to FEMA by May 22, 2007.
